Cove A Grade Women vs. Port Noarlunga A Grade Women

At Cove Park, the Cobras faced off against the mighty Cockledivers. The game started with Port Noarlunga taking an early bite out of the Cobras, kicking straight and true to set the tone. By the time the second half rolled around, the Cobras were slithering for survival.

Despite Cove’s best efforts, the Cockledivers sank the Cobras’ dreams, with the Portie gals extending their lead and never looking back. Kalahni Howes and Teegan Mesecke from Port Noarlunga were unstoppable, each booting three goals and leaving the Cove defenders in their wake.

The final siren saw Port Noarlunga triumph with a scoreline of 53-21, solidifying their top spot on the ladder. Meanwhile, Cove slip to fourth position, and they’ll need to find their stride to climb higher.

Reynella A Grade Women vs. Ironbank A Grade Women

Reynella Oval was buzzing as the Wineflies hosted the Thunderers. The Wineflies started with a slow buzz but quickly turned into a swarm, with Charlotte Watson putting in a best-on-ground performance. Reynella blitzed the field, leaving the Thunderers in their dust.

Ironbank, try as they might, couldn’t muster up the electricity needed to shock Reynella. Taya Maxwell was the standout for Reynella, kicking 3 goals and making the footy look like a walk in the park. Reynella cruised to a comfortable win with a scoreline of 62-1.

With this win, the Wineflies remain a force to be reckoned with, sitting comfortably in second place, while Ironbank finds themselves needing to weather the storm in fifth.

Flagstaff Hill A Grade Women vs. Hackham A Grade Women

At Flagstaff Hill, the Falcons soared high against the Hawks. The Falcons kicked off the game with precision, leaving Hackham floundering. As the quarters rolled on, Flagstaff Hill’s relentless attack saw them pile on the points.

Despite the Hawks’ valiant attempts, they couldn’t match the Falcons’ intensity. Tiana Lush from Flagstaff Hill was on fire, booting 4 goals and putting on a clinic that left the Hawks’ defenders with no answers. The final term was a mere formality as Flagstaff Hill secured a dominating victory with a scoreline of 80-1.
