Christies Beach FC was formed in 1963 by a number of break-away Port Noarlunga players, starting a fierce rivalry between these clubs which remains to this day. The club enjoyed back-to-back premiership wins in the 1960’s and 1970’s. The 1971 season saw them victorious whilst remaining undefeated. Christies Beach FC last premiership was in 1994. The club has produced a large number of Australian Football League (AFL) players.
